As stated by PSG Coach Christophe Galtier at Tuesday that FIFA World Cup new champion Lionel Messi will be back in PSG soon.

Messi who is the captain or Argentina Football team has recently defeated France in FIFA World Cup 2022 striking 2 goals in penalty shootouts.

After achieving the biggest tournament trophy, he went back with his team for Argentina to celebrate their great victory.

Galtier added more in the meeting with PSG that Messi will be with them when Ligue 1 resumes after World Cup break.

Due to World Cup celebrations, he had to go Argentina therefore we have given him off till 1st January. Messi will then join us in Ligue 1 on 1st or possibly 2nd January.

It looks that Messi will miss two games of Ligue 1, and French Cup game but definitely he will be back to home against Angers on 11th January.

We are expecting that after his return, he will make new agreement with PSG President and other important officials of club for the next season of Ligue 1 as current season will be end soon.

Galtier also announced that other players of club who were in World Cup mainly Mbappe and Neymar will play on Wednesday.
